A sweet thank you for all the mums

A delicious gift for Mother’s Day

These little balls have it all: plenty of power and flavour – and they look good, too. We’ll tell you how to make them.

They’re vegan and delicious, sweet without refined sugar, and round. Wrap them up in something pretty and they’re the perfect “Thank you for everything, Mum!” gift for Mother’s Day. And dads, grandmas, aunties, brothers, and all your other favourite people will love this sweet surprise, too. Created by our Arpuria kitchen team for you!

For 30 power balls, you’ll need: 250 grams of pitted dates, 100 grams of ground almonds, a teaspoon of vanilla pulp, a pinch of salt, and four dessert spoons of dark cocoa powder. The preparation is super easy and is ready in the blink of an eye. Simply put all the ingredients into the mixer and blend until they form a uniform mass, without any bits or clumps. So that the balls are all the same size, take a portion of the dough on a teaspoon and form it into little balls with your hands (each ball should be bite-sized). Then, roll the balls in the decoration of your choice so that they don’t stick together. The best things to use are coconut flakes, ground hazelnuts, or similar.

Wrap them up in a pretty package and then keep them in the fridge until it’s time to eat them.
